Together with IMI, we created a new website that revolved around a journey: the journey to retirement.

It wasn’t just a website but a unique user experience with a custom communication strategy delivered through the Pension City: an idea characterised by bespoke graphics and detailed information using the IMI brand and tone of voice.

On the IMI Pension City site was the IMI Newsroom. This was a communication centre that functioned exactly like an online news outlet: with weekly updates, topical articles and news videos to keep IMI employees updated and engaged with their workplace pension.

The Pension City Website was developed for the UK, Polish, Swiss, German, and Mexican branches of IMI - each written in their respective languages and tailored for different international pension and retirement laws. To ensure a cohesive user experience for all IMI employees, we also consulted and advised on the development of the IMI U.S. equivalent website.

Schneider Electric needed to boost their employee engagement with the company pension scheme, in order to empower their members to make more informed & educated choices about their pensions.

We transformed their usual printed communications into a series of 2D animated videos, packed with character and charm. Each video breaks down the different topics within the scheme to result in a much simpler, more digestible and appealing communications tool to the audience.

The videos generated a step-change towards the perceptions of pensions amongst their workforce. Schneider were hugely satisfied with the fresh, “out of the box” views/ideas on script, language and graphics we delivered for this project.

The Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), entrusts us to deliver compelling video and film content to their 300,000 members.

As one of the largest principal private pension schemes for universities and other higher education institutions in the UK and with £64 billion under management – USS relies on us to deliver compelling, high quality factual news content and animation to their 300,000 members, all delivered and packaged to specific deadlines. Their data shows, video is key to communicating with their members and ensuring their customers feel better informed, more connected and are left feeling more satisfied with the information.

Working with Kingfisher, we created a communication strategy that would enable household name brands B&Q, Screwfix, and Tradepoint to talk to their employees across the UK about their pension.

This was enabled by a new digital platform, whereby we housed a live pensions roadshow. The roadshow took the form of live TV shows on various pension and money topics, and gave employees the opportunity to put their burning questions directly to our Pension Geek presenters.

The activity took place throughout the day and evening - to give employees with various shift patterns ample opportunity to get involved.

The event was a huge success and led to an increase of engagement on the pension provider’s digital app, and higher numbers of employees proactively engaging with their pension.

With analytic data capture, we were able to streamline the service over time by understanding employees’ top questions and their engagement behaviour.

We helped the pension team at Kingfisher to bring their vision to life: of a financially engaged, connected and communicative workplace.

Aviva commissioned us to create a series of informative animations that delivered a high level of educational content in less than 90 seconds.

The purpose of the videos is to give customers a better understanding of various pension topics, such as salary sacrifice, pension options and workplace pensions - to name but a few, in an appealing, digestible and simple way. Our specialist in-house scriptwriters shaped the messaging into real everyday language. This combined with the right visual approach ensured optimum engagement from the audience, enabling them to absorb the information and make informed choices about their finances. This left the audience feeling much more motivated by the information they received.
